How to get Federal Government Contracts, with Marion Soublière

The Government of Canada spends $15 billion to $20 billion yearly on goods and services, including writing. Please join us February 20, as Ottawa writer and editor Marion Soublière (M.E.S. Editing and Writing Services ) tells freelance writers how to get a piece of the action. Marion Soublière is the author of Getting Work with the Federal Government: A guide to figuring out the procurement puzzle. She will give us a “road map” to getting a share of those contracts, explaining how to adopt short-, medium- and long-term sales approaches,  prepare winning proposals, obtain security clearance, and market our skills at all times.

Marion Soublière has worked in journalism, public relations and communications and contracts mainly to Government of Canada clients, including Global Affairs Canada, the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation, the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, the Library of Parliament, Natural Resources Canada and Industry Canada.
