WE’RE MOVING EVERYTHING FORWARD A WEEK TO NEXT SATURDAY, SEPT. 14 BECAUSE THE FORECAST IS CALLING FOR RAIN SATURDAY
CORN AND CAMARADERIE
PWAC POTLUCK AND ÉPLUCHETTE DE BLÉ D’INDE
SATURDAY, SEPT. 14
Where? Bruce Wilson and Noëlla LeBlanc’s place in Sainte-Adèle in the lovely Laurentians
When? Saturday, Sept. 14: 1 PM till after dark.
What to bring? BYO salads, meat, bottles, desserts, etc. to share. We’ll have lots of fresh corn available and a big pot to boil it in. Tables, cutlery, plates, cups, etc. will be provided.
Activities? Mainly eating, talking, drinking, and laughing. (What else do most writers do?) Maybe music and dancing, certainly good company. Bring your instrument if you’d like to perform. In case of rain, we will provide a canopy or welcome you inside the house.
Accommodations: In the unlikely event that anyone over-imbibes and can’t make it safely home that night, you’re welcome to stay here. We have two couches and an air mattress. Or there’s the local motel, which is very reasonable. And there’s room in the yard for two or three tents…
RSVP: Kathe Lieber, klieber23@gmail.com, PM on Facebook or tel. 514-482-1202.
Once you confirm, we’ll send detailed directions.
