Bilingual business writers needed to judge B2B journalism awards

The governing committee of the Kenneth R. Wilson Awards, co-produced by the Canadian Business Press and Magazines Canada, are seeking bilingual business and trade writers to judge this year’s submissions.

The judging for this category takes place online during the month of April. Judges will have approximately two weeks to evaluate the entries before your final scores are due. Each judge will have a maximum of 10 entries to read and score.

Quick note on conflict of interest: you would not be able to serve on this jury if you are entered in this category, or if a magazine on whose staff you served during 2011 is entered in this category. For other conflicts you may be requested to abstain from judging a particular entry but not the entire category.

We are grateful to the many wonderful members of our industry such as you who volunteer their time and expertise to judge the annual trove of b2b journalism. If you are able to accept this invitation, please let me know no later than Wednesday, March 28. Please provide your preferred email address, daytime phone number and a brief bio.

For more information, please contact PWAC Quebec member Melora Koepke as soon as possible.
