New Volumes Commemorate Internment of Italian Canadians

The Association of Italian Canadian Writers, in partnership with Guernica Editions and Accenti Magazine, has produced companion volumes and a series of magazine articles on the internment of Italian Canadians during World War II. Behind Barbed Wire and Beyond Barbed Wire (co-publication with Columbus Centre) and Accenti’s 25th issue will be launched across Canada in March.

Pick up your free copy of the books at one of the launches:

March 24 at 6:30 p.m. Halifax (Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21)
