PWAC Quebec reads & listens

On Saturday, October 1, 2011, PWAC Quebec held its first event in association with les Journées de la Culture / Culture Days. During this well-attended event, PWAC Quebec members Beverly Akerman, Julie Barlow, Olivia Kona, Eve Krakow, and Heather Grace Stewart  read selections of fiction, non-fiction and poetry to a receptive audience at Paragraphe Books in downtown Montreal. Kathe Lieber acted as MC. Thanks to all who attended.

Office Space available

In other news, we got word of some co-working office space opening up in Mile End. The space is currently shared by 4 people, and they’re looking for another 3-4 who .  Co-renters describe the space as a big, bright studio (1300 sq. ft.) with a private bathroom, small kitchen nook and lounge area, lots of bright natural light, collective mailbox, unlimited internet, and more.
