AMWA workshop: ABCs of financial planning

The Montreal chapter of the American Medical Writers Association cordially invites you to:

The ABCs of financial planning

Wednesday April 7, 2009, 7 pm (location to be determined)

WDB+A an independent financial advisor in Toronto and Montreal with small business experience will be presenting at this AMWA event.

As specialists in guiding self-employed people through the maze of financial planning, Warren Blatt the founder of WDB+A- a financial advising firm, will be presenting useful information on the subject of planning whether you are self-employed (freelance), incorporated, or an hourly contractor billing though a service. We will be reviewing tax planning, (RESP, RRSP, TSFA, insurance tax shelters), risk management, and retirement planning.

There will be a full presentation but time will be available to answer questions specifically from you. If there is a topic you would like covered in the seminar, please send an email to Warren Blatt with a brief explanation of what you would like covered and why as well as a means to contact you.

Please feel free to forward this invite to anyone who may be interested. Please RSVP by April 4th (although don’t think you can’t come to the event if you don’t RSVP in time!), but please give me as much notice as possible, so I can let the restaurant know how many to expect.

I welcome all AMWA members and non-members to this event. (There is no fee, only what you order for food/or beverages).

(Location to be announced, it will be downtown or Westmount). If you confirm your attendance, another email will follow with the location in the next few days.

We look forward to seeing you.
