The Quebec Community Groups Network (QCGN) is organizing a Provincial Youth Forum from September 27-28th at Concordia University. They are looking for youth participants, age 18-29, who are members of the English-speaking community of Quebec. It is free to attend and meals are included.
This is a rare opportunity to meet with youth from all across Quebec to discuss ways of improving and sustaining the future of English the speaking community.
This forum will bring 100 youths together to respond to the issues raised in recent youth consultations all over the province. The strategic recommendations we create will form the basis for an important 3 to 5-year strategic plan for the English-speaking community of Quebec.
We will also have the opportunity to be a part of the new QCGN / CBC web-portal launch, participate in skill-building workshops, hear about the dreams that minority Francophone youth have for their community in Ontario, influence policy, and network – all within an interactive and participatory youth forum.
There is no cost to attend, but places are limited.
