Here’s some information about the upcoming Ottawa Authors Book Fair:
The Ottawa Authors Book Fair, which will feature a number of Ottawa authors including Terry West, Randy Ray and Harold Wright, takes place at a new location this year, Clark Hall at the RA Centre at 2451 Riverside Dr. in Ottawa.
“It’s a great spot for this year’s fair because it is easy to get to and offers plenty of free parking,” says George Laidlaw, president of Ottawa Independent Writers, organizers of the event.
The book fair, which offers authors an opportunity to display their books for two days before a large audience, takes place on Saturday Nov. 10 and Sunday Nov. 11, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free.
Local authors who would like to book a table to display their books should contact George Laidlaw at: (613) 831-2505 or firstname.lastname@example.org
“The book fair is the ideal opportunity for established authors and up and coming authors to introduce the public to their books,” says Ray, author of eight books about Canada. “It also gives the public the chance to meet authors and discuss the business of writing and publishing books.”
