PWAC member Sid Tafler of Victoria (and formerly of Montreal) will be in Montreal on September 4 for a reading and discussion of his book, Us and Them: A memoir of tribes and tribulations. Come out and support one of our own! All the details are below.
When: September 4, at 2 p.m.
Where: Eleanor London Cote Saint-Luc Public Library, 5851 Cavendish Blvd., Cote Saint-Luc, Quebec
Something fascinating happened in Canada during the last fifty years: it evolved from a place of narrow tribal divisions to a country recognized around the world for tolerance and diversity. Us and Them is the story of a changing country, changing people and a new understanding of identity, belonging and the place we call home. This story is based largely in Quebec, written by a former Montrealer now living in Victoria, B.C.
