Thank you for your interest in PWAC. For 30 years now, the Professional Writers Association of Canada has offered freelance writers a community of our own, along with an unbeatable package of benefits and services. We count over 500 Canadian freelancers as members, and help each of them grow as writers and run a better writing business. The Quebec chapter of PWAC is home to over 70 freelance writers. We are a diverse group of award-winning journalists, film writers, corporate writers, authors, travel writers, and more.

    To whom it may concern,

    My name is Benjamin Ellis. I am a new PhD student at Concordia University stuyding history. I have just moved to Montreal and would like to join the Quebec chapter of the PWAC.

    I have just recently had my first freelance piece published for pay in the National Post (http://www.canada.com/topics/travel/story.html?id=a492e0a7-8da8-438f-87ec-84444b722fe7) and I would like to continue working as a freelance travel writer while I study.

    I have tried to join through the PWAC national website but it is not working. Is the website expected to be back up and running soon? Or is there an alternate way to join?
